World Poker Tour® (WPT®) is headed back to the Las Vegas Strip for the WPT Venetian Las Vegas Championship. Taking place at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas from July 11-17, this WPT Championship Event will feature a $5,000 buy-in and a $4 million guaranteed prize pool. For poker fans watching from home, the final table of this event will be livestreamed from the brand new state of the art stream room on property at The Venetian Las Vegas.

“The Venetian has been home to some incredible WPT moments over the years,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “We are honored to bring the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup back to such a revered venue.”

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas has hosted several WPT Championship events, drawing elite fields and producing memorable final tables. The most recent WPT Venetian Championship Event happened in 2022, where Robert Mizrachi bested a field of 1,178 entrants scoring a first place prize of $894,100 and earning his first WPT title.

“The Venetian Poker Room has been completely transformed since the last time WPT was with us in 2022,” said Tommy Larosa, Director of Poker Operations at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. “Our new room, the largest on the Las Vegas Strip, provides players with an elevated experience and adding the WPT Championship event to the DeepStack Championship Poker Series further expands the offering for players this summer.”
